The AQ-10 is a rapid screening tool for autism spectrum conditions in adults, developed by Allison et al. (2012) from the full AQ-50. Recommended by NICE guideline CG142. Takes approximately 3 minutes.
Scoring Guide
10 items, 4-point scale. Dichotomous scoring: Items 1,7,8,10 score 1 for Slightly/Definitely Agree. Items 2,3,4,5,6,9 score 1 for Slightly/Definitely Disagree. Total ≥6 suggests referral. Allison et al. (2012).
