Where do you fall on the asexuality spectrum?
Sexual attraction isn't the same for everyone, and for some people, it's rarely or never there. The Asexuality Identification Scale (AIS) measures where people fall on this spectrum. Yule, Brotto, and Gorzalka (2015) built it as a 12-item self-report form using a 7-point Likert scale (1=Strongly Disagree, 7=Strongly Agree), covering three dimensions: lack of sexual attraction, aversion to sex, and avoidance of sexual behavior.
Scoring Guide
Total score range 12-84. Item 6 is reverse-scored (1→7, 2→6, 3→5, 4→4, 5→3, 6→2, 7→1).Levels: ≤30 Low; 31-48 Moderate; 49-66 High; 67-84 Very High. Cronbach's α = 0.93–0.95 (Yule et al., 2015).Result Interpretation
