Cognitive Inference Style Assessment
Multi-dimensional Vector Inference Questionnaire
A 25-item self-report inventory based on a multi-dimensional vector inference model. Assesses your cognitive inference style across four dimensions: Analytical Thinking, Intuitive Thinking, Open Flexibility, and Cognitive Rigor. Includes attention checks and consistency validation.
What is Cognitive Inference Style?
Cognitive inference style describes an individual's preferred ways of processing information, solving problems, and making decisions. This assessment is based on a multi-dimensional vector inference model, evaluating your cognitive processing characteristics across four dimensions:
1. Analytical Thinking: Tendency to approach problems through logical decomposition and systematic reasoning. High scorers excel at breaking down complex problems, evaluating evidence, and conducting causal analysis. 2. Intuitive Thinking: Reliance on gut feelings, sudden insights, and instinctive judgment. High scorers are adept at quickly perceiving patterns and using heuristics. 3. Open Flexibility: Adaptability to changing circumstances and openness to diverse perspectives. High scorers excel at switching between different thinking frameworks. 4. Cognitive Rigor: Thoroughness, precision, and systematic discipline in thinking. High scorers pay attention to details and persist with challenging problems.
> Non-diagnostic notice: This assessment is for personal cognitive style exploration only and is not a diagnostic tool for any psychological disorder or cognitive impairment.
Scoring Guide
Four-dimensional inference scores: Analytical Thinking (cog_01-06), Intuitive Thinking (cog_07-12), Open Flexibility (cog_13-18), Cognitive Rigor (cog_19-24) + attention check (cog_25). Raw dimension scores computed via vector-weighted summation.
