Discover your Enneagram type. This 27-item test measures your alignment with all 9 Enneagram types.

Nine ways of seeing the world

The Enneagram describes nine distinct personality types, each with its own core motivation, fear, and way of navigating life. Unlike some personality models, the Enneagram focuses on *why* you do what you do — the underlying drives that shape your behavior.

Each type has a number (1–9), and your "wing" (an adjacent type) adds nuance. The test also measures your levels of health within each type.

The nine types

1. The Reformer — principled, purposeful, self-controlled 2. The Helper — generous, demonstrative, people-pleasing 3. The Achiever — success-oriented, pragmatic, image-conscious 4. The Individualist — sensitive, expressive, dramatic 5. The Investigator — perceptive, innovative, secretive 6. The Loyalist — engaging, responsible, anxious 7. The Enthusiast — spontaneous, versatile, scattered 8. The Challenger — self-confident, decisive, confrontational 9. The Peacemaker — reassuring, agreeable, complacent

About this system

The Enneagram's origins are debated — some trace it to ancient spiritual traditions, others to 20th-century psychology. The modern Enneagram of Personality was popularized by Don Richard Riso and Russ Hudson in the 1990s.

The Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator (RHETI) is a widely used Enneagram assessment. Research on the Enneagram's psychometric properties is growing but still limited compared to instruments like the Big Five.

This test is best used for self-reflection and personal growth, not as a clinical or diagnostic tool.
