Measures burnout: exhaustion and disengagement. 16 items.

The Oldenburg Burnout Inventory (OLBI), developed by Demerouti and Bakker (2008), is a 16-item self-report measure assessing burnout through two core dimensions: Exhaustion and Disengagement. Unlike the Maslach Burnout Inventory, the OLBI uses both positively and negatively framed items to reduce response bias. Items are rated on a 4-point scale. There are no standard clinical cut-off points; interpretation should be based on sample norms or published benchmarks.
