Ever wondered if you might have ADHD? The ASRS-6 is a quick WHO-developed screening tool — 6 questions from the full 18-item version, about 2 minutes.

What Is the ASRS-6 Screener?

Adult ADHD is easy to miss. The ASRS-6 catches it with just 6 questions — Kessler and his team at Harvard picked these from the full 18-item version because they are the ones that tell you the most. It is brief enough for a quick check, validated enough for clinical surveys.

How Scoring Works

Each item 0-4: 0=Never, 1=Rarely, 2=Sometimes, 3=Often, 4=Very Often. Total score 0-24.

Scoring Guide

6 items, 5-point scale (0=Never, 4=Very Often). Scoring: Part A (items 1-4) uses cutoff of 14. Part B (items 5-6) is auxiliary. In the original study, the 6-item screener outperformed the full 18-item ASRS.

Result Interpretation

Finish the 6 questions and you get your results straight away — no account, no sign-up, no waiting.

We calculate your total from your answers, then give you a plain-language explanation of what the numbers mean. Whenever possible, we also show how your results compare to population norms.
