About the K10
Measures recent psychological distress in 10 quick questions — how often you have felt anxious, depressed, nervous, or helpless over the past month. Kessler and his team designed it for large population surveys where you need something short but solid. Three minutes, and you are done.
Why use the K10?
1. Broad-spectrum: Captures both anxiety and depressive symptoms 2. Brief and efficient: 10 items, 3 minutes, extensively validated 3. Global standard: Used in WHO World Mental Health Surveys 4. Continuous measurement: Provides a continuous severity score
