Sexual Compulsivity Scale (SCS)
10-item · Kalichman & Rompa (1995)
Do sexual thoughts and behaviors keep getting in the way of your life? The SCS is a 10-item screening tool that measures compulsive sexual thoughts and behaviors. About 3 minutes.
What Is the Sexual Compulsivity Scale (SCS)?
Sexual thoughts and behaviors that keep interfering with daily life -- but you are not sure whether it counts as a problem. SCS is a quick way to get a sense of where you stand.
Developed by Kalichman & Rompa in 1995 for HIV prevention research, the SCS has since been used across clinical and non-clinical populations. It is 10 items covering the core features of sexual compulsivity: intrusive thoughts, loss of control, and interference with daily life.
